Welcome to Traces in Time- Ex-Libris Albania! This website serves as a tool to explore a research on provenance notes in the rare book collection of the National Library of Albania. The research aims to contribute to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage. Through the study of ex-libris and similar marks of origin, this project discovers the histories of ownership and intellectual exchange that have shaped the collection held today. The project is still in development and soon you will be able to browse the catalog of provenance notes, discover maps of the journeys these books have taken, and explore more about Albania’s connections to its literary past.
